Emily, Sean and Charlie are part of our amazing team of Choral Scholars - if you came to our Messiah Concert you will remember her wonderful singing as Soprano soloist. Sean and Charlie are performing with us for the first time.

On a warm summer evening in Halifax our recent concert was a very enjoyable experience for audience and choir alike. Opening with the rousing “Zadok The Priest” and closing with “Jerusalem”, - joined by the audience - the concert included pieces from Gershwin, Parry, Mendelson, Copland and many others. Excellent performances from the singers of Halifax Minster and James Bowstead on piano and organ made the evening complete. See our photo gallery here.

It has been announced that the internationally acclaimed tenor Alex Banfield will perform with HCS on 19th March at Halifax Minster.
Alex will sing the tenor solo in Haydn's Nelson Mass and Jonathan Willcocks's Great and Glorious Victory with Halifax Chroal Society and the Skipton Camerata.
Other soloists witll be announced in due course
