Description:	Halifax Choral Society are proud to present an evening dedicated to the music of John Rutter and Philip Wilby. Wilby and Rutter are two of our greatest and most prolific living English composers; both are still creating tuneful and accessible music in their 70s. This concert will feature a Brass and Percussion ensemble, led by trombone virtuoso Brett Baker, and organist Darius Battiwalla. We are also fortunate to offer the chance to hear from Philip Wilby himself, prior to the performance. The programme has been designed to take the opportunity to showcase the acoustics of Halifax Minster at its finest, making this a thrilling and memorable Autumn evening.
