If you’re a total beginner or your singing experience is limited or years ago, don’t worry – you will not be alone! Our Learn to Sing Messiah course is designed to take you from scratch to singing this iconic masterpiece with confidence and joy.
Over six sessions, led by experienced vocal coach Ed Jones, you will get:
Vocal training as part of a very supportive group
Tuition in how music is written, and how to sing in four part harmony
Learning of key sections from Handel’s Messiah
Help and guidance—no need to read music
Supportive community of fellow singers
A free place on a full day workshop/performance on Saturday 6th December (normally £15)
What is included?
Light refreshments and music will be provided
Course participants who wish to stay for Halifax Choral Society’s normal rehearsals starting at 7:30 pm in the same venue will be welcome - no charge for attending
